Super Strong, Yet Super Tasty. |

Canarias has a rabid cult following (second only to the likes of Rosamonte) and with good reason. This one is awesome and unique. On opening, you will see the grind is a true thing of beauty, very fine, uniform leaves, just enough dust to give the right body, with tiny little bits of stem you might not notice unless you look very closely. A distinct, heady aroma and a strong, smoky sabor, as much as any other sin palo blend, but in my opinion less bitter. As far as I can tell, this is what makes people fanatical about it.
If you like blends with stems and wanna see what it's like on the other side, this is a great introduction, though for most people, nothing else will do after they get the taste for Canarias. I tend to refrain from drinking this regularly (I like how it blends with and add an awesome bite to other, more suave blends in the right proportion, like Union) as I have a feeling that if this were to become my standard, there would be no going back, it is that good.

This is a rich and aromatic mate; very nice and smoothe. Not bitter yet it hints at smokey tones. Fresh, too.

I've tried many, but this one beats them all, you can't go wrong with it.
